  • Nearly two decades into fracking, dozens of peer-reviewed public health studies clearly show greater distances from shale gas well pads better protect public health.

  • Please Governor Shapiro, I urge you to support efforts to establish new statewide minimum setback distances - based on public health data.

  • Pennsylvanians deserve these protections.

Organizations can show their support by endorsing our campaign or sharing how Protective Buffers will impact your members, along with sharing our action opportunities with your members. If your organization is interested in supporting the campaign, please contact us.

Pass Ordinances

You can work to get a Protective Buffer ordinance passed at the local level. If you’re concerned about oil, gas, or petrochemical infrastructure in your community, please request more information at the top of the page.
